There was great excitement last Friday morning when we headed off on the bus with Miss Moriarty's and Miss Quaid's class to the Helix in DCU to see the panto "Beauty and the Beast". We had our lunches packed and got some treats as well so we were all set. We had great fun shouting out things like "Ah here, leave it ouhhhhhhh!" and "He's behind you!". But the highlight of the show (for Mr Kennedy anyway!) was when we all danced and sang along like crazy people to Gangnam Style, the roof on the Helix nearly came off we made so much noise! Here we are on the bus on the way in.
We are also getting ready for Christmas in our class these days, because Santa is coming in only 14 days! We made lovely Christmas stockings to hang up for Santa when he comes.
The Christmas nativity play is happening very soon, so we are practicing really hard every day, singing and saying our lines. Dont forget to keep practicing the songs at home so that we will sound great on the night! All the songs are up on our blog to sing along to.
