Hi everybody!
This week we did lots of fun stuff in room 4. We learned about the kind of toys that were around when our granny and grandads would have been small. Who would have thought that you could play a game of football with two straws and a small plastic ball instead of FIFA 13 on the Playstation! Things have changed a lot but we still recognised some of the toys because they are still around today.
Sometimes when we are doing our maths work it can take us a while to find the right page in our Planet Maths books, so we made lovely bookmarks to put in our books to help us find the page easier.
There was a fantastic cake sale in the school. Some people went to a lot of effort as you can see!
We are hoping to put on a play at Christmas, so on Friday we began to learn our first song. We will learn a couple of new songs every week so that we will be ready by the time Christmas comes. If we could practice them at home as well that would be a great help. Here are the words for our first song:
